Australia (ACMA) - Public Consultations on Compliance Priorities, 3.4 GHz and 3.7 GHz Band

The Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) has opened the following public consultations:

  • Compliance Priorities 2022-2023 – Consultation 09/2022 – ACMA has targeted key areas of public interest and areas that could have a negative impact on the community to improve industry compliance. The consultation is seeking comments on new issues of public interest or issues that could cause consumer harm.

The consultation may be accessed here and will be open for comments until March 28, 2022.

  • Proposed Spectrum Re-Allocation Declaration for the 3.4 GHz and 3.7 GHz Bands. ACMA is proposing to re-allocate parts of the 3400-3575 MHz and 3700-3800 MHz frequency bands to support the best long-term use of the bands.

The consultation may be accessed here and will be open for comments until April 27, 2022.
