The National Telecommunications Agency (ANATEL) in Brazil held a public consultation in early 2023 on the Technical Requirements for IPv6 Protocol Compliance Assessment in Telecommunications Products. On July 6, 2023, ANATEL published Act No. 7971 approving the technical requirements to evaluate compliance for IPv6 protocol in telecommunications products. This Act is now in effect and will become mandatory as of January 8, 2024.
