The Department of Innovation, Science and Economic Development (ISED) in Canada published Radio Standards Specification RSS-247, issue 3 - Digital Transmission Systems (DTSs), Frequency Hopping Systems (FHSs) and Licence-Exempt Local Area Network (LE-LAN) Devices on August 3, 2023.
RSS-247, issue 3 replaces RSS-247, issue 2, and main changes include introducing requirements for devices that use the 5850-5895 MHz band and channels spanning 5850 MHz, and identifying power limits and unwanted emission limits associated with devices that use the 5850-5895 MHz frequency band.
