The Certification and Accreditation Administration (CNCA) of China made the following announcements on August 10, 2023.
No. 12 of 2023 – CCC Certification will now implement electronic certificates. Applicants will still be able to request paper copies if needed. The announcement comes into effect on January 1, 2024.
No. 14 of 2023 – CNCA has updated the Implementation Rules for safety certification of network equipment and specific cybersecurity products. The announcement is now in effect. Valid safety certification certificates issued before August 10, 2023 may continue to be used, and will convert to the new rules during natural transitions such as certificate renewals, product changes, and standard version changes.
