The Central Marks Department III of the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) has extended the deadline for the implementation of IS 16333 (Part 3): 2022 on November 22, 2022. The deadline has been extended by 6 months, until June 17, 2023.
Initially, the Central Marks Department III of the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) published Guidelines for the implementation of Revised IS 16333 (Part 3): 2022 on October 10, 2022. Existing licensees compliant with the previous standard IS 16333 (Part 3): 2017 would need to switch over to IS 16333 (Part 3): 2022 by December 17, 2022 to avoid cancellation of the license or deletion of the model from the scope of the license to be initiated.
