The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) of India has introduced Phase VI under the Compulsory Registration Order (CRO) 2021, adding a new product category Television Set under the Standard IS 18112:2022 - Digital Television Receiver for Satellite Broadcast Transmission – Specification.
The implementation date of this phase is April 26, 2025.
