Indonesia (SDPPI) - Domestic Component Level for Telecommunication Equipment

The Directorate General of Resources and Equipment of Post and Information Technology (SDPPI) of Indonesia announced on April 7, 2022 stating that subscriber station telecommunication equipment based on Long Term Evolution (LTE) and/or International Mobile technology standards Telecommunications-2020 (5G) must meet a Domestic Component Level (TKDN) of at least 35%.


Starting April 18, 2022, applications for certification of cellular phones, tablet computers, handheld computers, and Wi-Fi Modem (Mifi) devices with LTE and/or 5G NR features must attach a TKDN certificate with a Domestic Content value of at least 35%.
