The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) in Japan has announced a public consultation on a partial revision of the Ordinance for Radio Equipment, which includes the development of a system to allow for the use of European and US standard test data and to review technical standards and test methods for 2.4 GHz band wireless LAN.
The consultation may be accessed here and will be available for comments until July 31, 2023.
