The Communication and Information Technology Regulatory Authority (CITRA) of Kuwait has published a new Type Approval Regulation. The main change is the Type Approval certificate validity increased from 1 year to 3 years. Renewals should be started within 3 months of expiration and up to 20 days after expiration. Otherwise a new certificate application will be required. Certificates are still being issued with 1 year validity, however the transition should follow shortly.
