December, 2021

The Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) is in the process of reviewing the potential use of the 5925-7125 MHz (6 GHz) frequency band for Wi-Fi. During the review, certification of the 6 GHz band will not be permitted for Wi-Fi. Applicants for type approval must ensure the 6 GHz frequency is disabled on devices that support the 6 GHz frequency band prior to submitting applications.
