The Ministry of Economy (SE) of Mexico published a resolution on May 25, 2023 (DGN.191.01.2023.1221 / DGFCCE.516.2023.1345) which voids the following resolutions published by the Dirección General de Facilitación Comercial y de Comercio Exterior (DGFCCE) and the Dirección General de Normas (DGN):
Folio 414.2020.827 – Originally published on March 26, 2020, this Folio allowed the importation of products after March 27, 2020, if applications were submitted to a Certification Body (CB) or Unit of Verification through a folio number provided by the CBs.
Folio 414.2020.963 – Originally published on April 14, 2020, this Folio allowed the importation of products after March 27, 2020, if applications were submitted to a Test Lab through a folio number provided by the Test Lab.
DGFCCE and DGN no longer allow Folios to be used for importation purposes since the circumstances originally surrounding the publication of the Folios above are no longer valid. Current Folios registered in the Customs-Standards system will lose their validity on August 23, 2023.
