The Nepal Telecommunications Authority (NTA) published a notification announcing the implementation of the Mobile Device Management System (MDMS). Mobile devices for personal purposes brought to Nepal that have passed inspection through the customs office will be automatically registered in the MDMS. Importers and Sellers of mobile devices must only sell and distribute mobile devices that are approved by NTA and registered in the MDMS.
