Due to cargo carriers and a nationwide strike of transportation unions, the President of Peru has ordered a curfew for the capital Lima. The Ministry of Transport and Communications (MTC) of Peru also issued a memorandum on April 3, 2022, requesting that 22 directors of the Transportation sector and 11 directors of the Communications sector resign. Presently, delays are to be expected for MTC projects.
