The Telecommunications and Postal Regulatory Authority (ARTP) of Senegal held a call for tenders to select an operator who would be able to provide 5G infrastructure in an efficient and reliable manner. ARTP provisionally awarded a 5G license to Sonatel (Orange Senegal), and will soon prepare for 5G network implementation in Senegal.
