Senegal (ARTP) - New Short Range Devices (SRD) Regulation

The Regulatory Authority for Telecommunications and Posts (ARTP) of Senegal has published Decision No. 2002-004 on the general operating conditions for short-range radio communication devices.


This new regulation includes:

  • 24.05-24.5 GHz and 77-81 GHz frequency bands open for RTTT

  • 57-64 GHz frequency band allowed for non-specific applications

  • 6000-8500 MHz for non-specific applications, including UWB

  • More bands allowed for inductive applications

  • More bands for radiodetermination, TLPR, and TLP
