The Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) in Singapore announced on July 26, 2023, that IMDA plans to close 3G networks and services starting July 31, 2024. New registrations and renewals of 3G-only mobile terminals, and non-VoLTE capable mobile or smartphones will not be accepted by IMDA starting November 1, 2023. The sale of such devices for local use will not be allowed beginning February 1, 2024.
