The Telecommunications, Radiocommunications & Broadcasting Regulator (TRBR) in Vanuatu announced on Friday, March 17, 2023; devices that only have Bluetooth are exempted from the Local Importer Permit requirement. Manufacturers of devices with only Bluetooth, and devices with both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi functionality will still require mandatory type approval prior to importing these products into the country.
