The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has issued a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM) to solicit input on updating rules for the Citizens Broadband Radio Service in the 3.55–3.7 GHz band. This NPRM seeks feedback on the current federal protection framework and potential improvements or innovations for the 3.5 GHz band. Comments are due by October 7, 2024, and reply comments by November 5, 2024.
