Hong Kong OFCA Issues HKCA 1007 Issue 6 for ISM Equipment

The Office of the Communications Authority (OFCA) in Hong Kong has published Issue 6 of HKCA 1007, Conformance Specification for Industrial, Scientific and Medical (ISM) Equipment, updating the operating frequency ranges for ISM equipment.

Overview

HKCA 1007 Issue 6 covers equipment designed to generate or use radio-frequency energy locally, and sets out the frequency ranges in which it may operate.
Selected frequency ranges include 13.553-13.567 MHz, 2,400-2,483.5 MHz, 5,725-5,875 MHz, 24-24.25 GHz, and 61-61.5 GHz.
Disturbance limits and measurement methods are covered by reference to the latest edition of CISPR 11.
