The Department of Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED) has initiated an open consultation regarding three draft documents concerning White Space Devices (WSDs) and their management. These documents include RSS-222, issue 4, which delineates certification requirements for WSDs, DBS-01, issue 4, outlining technical specifications for databases identifying available channels for WSDs, and CPC-4-1-01, issue 2, detailing application procedures for entities aspiring to become White Space Database Administrators (WSDBAs).
Stakeholders can access the drafts and submit feedback via the Radio Advisory Board of Canada (RABC) website until August 2nd, 2024.
