On June 25th, 2024, ISED has released RSS-210, Issue 11, detailing certification requirements for license-exempt radio apparatus like remote controls, medical telemetry, and radar systems up to 71 GHz. The update includes new radar limits and introduces Wireless Multi channel Audio Systems (WMAS) for digital microphones, aiming to clarify and modernize standards. This specification primarily applies to low-power devices used in consumer and commercial settings.
