The Department of Innovation, Science and Economic Development (ISED) Canada is inviting comments on REC-LAB, Issue 8, dated December 2023, which outlines the procedure for recognizing testing laboratories to assess Canadian requirements for various standards in the telecommunications, radio apparatus, and broadcasting equipment domains. This recognition applies to both Canadian and foreign testing laboratories.
Additionally, they are seeking feedback on Issue 2 of the Testing Laboratory Technical Assessment Checklist, which delineates the criteria to be considered during the assessment of test laboratories by accredited bodies.
All comments on these consultations must be submitted by February 16, 2024.
