The Utility Regulation and Competition Office (OfReg) in the Cayman Islands has initiated a public consultation, starting from May 27, 2024, and ending on June 27, 2024, regarding the expansion of Short Range Devices (SRDs) that can operate without a license within the country. The consultation aims to gather feedback on proposed changes to the technologies and frequencies permitted for license-exempt short-range devices.
