The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) has put forth a proposal to establish and amend certification provisions, labeling requirements, and enforcement provisions for specific consumer products and commercial/industrial equipment. These changes aim to ensure that reporting aligns with current energy conservation standards and test procedures, as well as to provide DOE with essential information for determining product classifications and standards applications. Interested parties are invited to provide comments, data, and information on this proposal until November 28, 2023. Additionally, a public webinar is scheduled for October 26, 2023, where participants can learn more and engage with the DOE on this matter.
