Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED) is seeking feedback on draft updates to two Radio Standards Specifications: RSS-Gen Issue 6 and RSS-310 Issue 6.

Overview

RSS-Gen Issue 6 outlines general compliance requirements for all radio apparatus, including both licensed and licence-exempt devices.
RSS-310 Issue 6 applies to licence-exempt Category II equipment, which does not require certification but must still meet technical standards.

Comments must be submitted by May 29, 2026.
