The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) in Japan has published a draft report from the New Generation Mobile Communication System Committee on January 17, 2024. The report outlines technical conditions for the 5th generation mobile communication system in the 4.9 GHz band.
The MIC has initiated a public consultation period, starting from January 17, 2024, and ending on February 16, 2024 to g"Public Consultation Period Opened for 5G Technical Standards in the 4.9 GHz Band: MIC Seeks Input on Draft Report"ather opinions from stakeholders and the public. This voluntary opinion solicitation aims to incorporate diverse perspectives, and active participation is encouraged to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the proposed technical standards.
